2020 Co-Vid update

So!
My first year as a legit retail business and Co-Vid hit!

I fared really well actually. I think it helped that I was still in start-up mode… the shop had only been open for five months. I’ve been self-employed and under-employed for 9 years so I’m used to living on low earnings and being resourceful.

Moving towns, opening the shop in November and trading through Christmas was such a whirlwind it gave me time to catch my breath and plan for the future. By then I could predict that the business would be successful because I could see people in this area needed this service. I spent most of the lockdown time putting business systems in place and planning for the future.
